Inspected random electrolytic capacitors through out the circuit, all passives within 5% of specified values.
Tape heads like new condition, have no wear.
Replaced main belt.
Reconditioned pinch roller.
Cleaned, removed old grease, applied synthetic lubricant to all mechanical parts.
Cleaned, inspected and adjusted brake pads.
Inspected PCB's for dry joints and re-soldered.
Checked all mechanical adjustments.
Checked all electrical adjustments.
Cleaned & deoxit potentiometers and switches.
Cleaned, demagnetized tape heads.
Cleaned, polished & detailed unit.
Wood veneer sides have been re-stained, sealed with satin oil based polyurethane.
New 240vac power lead.

This TEAC A-2300SX open reel tape deck is in pristine condition, with minimal use and no wear on the tape heads. All electrolytic capacitors are within specification, and the unit has undergone a thorough service and cleaning. The veneer sides, previously faded, have been restored to a better-than-new appearance. The machine operates flawlessly, with robust fast forward and rewind motors. The recording and playback quality is exceptional. Additionally, a set of authentic New Old Stock TEAC RCA leads, an empty take-up reel, and a new sealed AMPEX blank tape reel are included.
