The PL-15 employs a 4-pole synchronous motor is completely free from even minor line voltage fluctuations, keeping turntable revolution constant at all times. Accordingly, there is no need to make speed fine adjustment with a stroboscope.
When record playing comes to an end, the tonearm returns onto the arm rest automatically, and then the power is cut off. In addition to this Auto Return mechanism, the PL-15 features the Auto Cut button. Once the button is pressed even while a record is being played, it permits the tonearm to return onto the arm rest automatically, too.
The oil-damped arm lifter can help you in playing a record. The tonearm floats up and goes down gently, resulting in longer service life of stylus and record surface protection.
Replacement of cartridge or stylus is simple by virtue of the easy-removal arm head provided.
To make easy, accurate adjustment of tracking force without a tracking force gauge, there is a direct-reading dial conveniently available for the purpose.
