Description
The amplifier section of the NAD model 120 has directly coupled output stages, with a linear frequency curve of 20 to 20,000Hz at a nominal output, ensuring excellent bass reproduction and dynamic range.
The tuner unit is of the most up to date design. The superb results are made possible by the 3-gang variable capacitor with low noise FET and 2 FETs in the RF and mixing stage as well as IC and phase linear ceramic filters in the IF amplifier.
Most important is the MPX circuit with phase lock loop which increases stereo separation to more than 40dB at 1kHz. The tuner has separate AM and FM IF amplifiers. For accurate tuning a field strength meter is used.
