Description:
The Amber Model 7 Tuner completes two separate systems of Amber electronic components; amp/preamp/tuner and integrated amp/tuner.
It uses a quartz PLL synthesizer circuit to precisely tune both AM and FM broadcasts and has six station memory access buttons, each of which can preserve one AM and one FM setting, for a total of 12 station presets.
In the FM reception mode, station scanning can be done both manually and automatically, and FM stereo muting can be manually disengaged to permit listening to stations with marginal reception.
A capacitor type memory backup system preserves memory contents for up to three days if the unit becomes unplugged. A built in ferrite bar antenna provides AM reception. The Model 7 has an attractive low profile design. As with all Amber products, solid walnut sidepanels are standard.
